Réti Pooling Overview

The Réti Pooling protocol facilitates the creation of decentralized staking pools on the Algorand network, enabling groups of individuals to participate in consensus together. Users are able to trustlessly stake to a Validator and earn yield based on the rewards the Validator receives.
The protocol allows anyone to create or join staking pools.
Validator creators are assumed to be technically capable of creating, maintaining and monitoring an Algorand node as well as having an understanding of background services. The Algorand node should run 24x7 and the Reti node daemon must be properly configured to run 24x7 as well. There is an assumption of technical understanding of command-line use and general server operations.
The protocol is completely decentralized and non-custodial.
Validators can configure pools to suit varied needs while maintaining core immutable parameters.
Provides an option for permissionless staking pools.
Allows small stakeholders to directly participate in consensus by pooling stake.
Users and validators can earn yield and secure the network.
Promotes a variety of independent validators.
Helps diversify stake across numerous nodes for better network security.
Provides a reliable revenue stream for projects to benefit from staking.
